This 18th century corner cupboard is excellent for the display of pewter, glass, or china. The authentic "H" hinges and bar latch with strike is the hardware you should seek if you plan on an authentic-looking 18th century cabinet. The plain tongue and groove door enhances the fine accuracy of the style. Scrolled shelves and stiles add decorative interest to the upper section and these are the pieces which would have reflected the personality of the woodworker. Follow the full size patterns for these pieces, or devise your own to change the appearance. A large plan -- the paper plan itself is almost 9 long! A fine piece and an advanced project.
