This Chippendale dresser/chest is two plans in one. Build both portions and put together, build both and use separately, or just build one piece. The upper chest has five large drawers plus two smaller drawers at the very top. The lower section of the chest is modeled after those made around 1750. The cabinetmakers who emigrated from England often gave a Chippendale appearance to their work as exemplified by the bracket feet. Make this chest of pine, cherry, walnut, or maple. All joinery is shown in actual size while curved workpieces are all in full size. You can measure and trace straight from the drawing. Also includes bill of materials/cutting list, detailed exploded diagram, and hardware requirements list.
